ok so i joined the old camp and eventually the mine shit went down and they were all against me. my question is..is it possible to stay with the old camp? the whole time i was questing for the new camp/ sect camp was only because the old camp wasnt giving me shit to do. plus if you cant stay with the new camp that means its impossible to get teh heavy guard armour? correct?

***SPOILER****
Unfortunately, once you start helping the other camps, you are betraying your camp. I was very dissapointed in that fact. I was so hoping to become a Heavy Guard and to take over Fletchers route, this way he can come back in the castle.
I was so hoping that I could go give all the diggers a hard time and get protection money from them. I was hoping to break up fights or compete in the arena for ore.
So your answer is no, you cannot stay with the Old Camp. Which makes it impossible to get the Heavy Guard Armor.
The only thing the Old Camp wants you to do is spy on the other camps.
But by this time you would probably have been given the chance to join either of the other two camps. These camps both offer Heavy Armor if you reach a certain level.

I couldn't agree more--best looking armor in the whole game as far as I'm concerned. I really wish they would let you get it in act 3, even if you have to betray the camp. The other heavy armors are not available until act 4.

Oh, yeah. I wanted that armor more than anything. Not being able to get it annoyed me even more than the bugs!

After I see what they did to me 1st game, I never played OC ever again, I go out of my way to make them miserable at me so its even more fun to slaughter every last one of them at the end. Also, OC is pack of lazy bums that *want* to stay under the barrier, they deserve their fate. Im glad I gave it to everylast one of em too

Oh, but in the Old Camp you get to stand around the fire and drink beer all day and then go piss on the wall.

What would have made the game a lot better is the option to stay with the Old Camp and be a bad guy.

Like maybe, report to Gomez and say they want you to betray him, then stay on as an OC operative and set the New Camp up to be beaten.

I hate that the last half of the game is always the same. There should be two or three different endings, not just one.

Right, a little more diversity toward the end plus the option to stay with the best-looking guys this side of the barrier (i.e., OC) would have made the game even better .

That OC armor sure is. I wish we could have stayed there too. I wanted to get one of those armors with the dragon shield plate on it like Thorus

Possessing those Heavies who wear the armor looks like the only possibility to get it, at least for me.

Just did it for fun while RAMtesting last night - cheat the Heavy guards out of their armor, run around wearing the thing for a while, and then dumping the whole collection in the river. After that I started to strip everybody in OC I didn't like too much. After that, all the rest*. Then the game crashed (but it crashed regularly as any game should, not just stopped my machine cold as in the days of the old RAMchip).

Believe me, the best moment for me was watching Bloodwyn collect protection money clad only in his trusty hole-riddled underpants . Oh, and Jackal is tattoed from head to... uhhh... toe.

*Right, I'm a mischievous little girl, am I not ?
