Yeah the test is pretty difficult without some kind of hints. You would never know that you need a certain weapon to kill the living stone. Although, following the shrines to the cave was not all that difficult.

The game gives you some hints too about the weapon, but still it's very hard to figure it out yourself.

@Sem

Yea sure. But someone had to figure it out though

It would always be great to find out who figured it out first.

I would think he would have been knocking out random people, stealing everything around, then just happened to be using the correct weapon at the correct time. Always happens with me.

I spent quite a while before I figured this out hehehe.

I got my butt slapped several times too. I was trying to knock him off the nearby cliff to kill him. You can do it if you get everything just right, but he falls the 400,000 feet and is unharmed lol.

I would think not. He is just a big rock. "Weak spot?!?It's a ROCK! It doesn't have any weakspots!" Space Quest, I think. The best quote for the thing.

The living rock hint was so obvious.Didn't you guys listen to the novice who was guarding the sacred hammer?

The hardest thing was to find the cave.The novices surely helped on that.Why else those guys would be standing beside the road

I actually found the cave the first time as a paladin and I was left sitting in the cave wondering what in the world it was doing there. Man, did it make the mage trip SOOO much easier. But the living rock was a pain to figure out. Stupid hammer. Doesn't even do any damage to anything else.
