Need Light Spell

i need the light spell so i can explore the water areas in the first smuggler's cave (newbie dungeon). i have water breathing but cannot seem to find light (can't see a thing in the water). any help would be appreciated.

please someone must know where i can find a light spell or night vision spell.

Spells are normally bought in mage's guilds. I bet you've already tried the merchant in Seyda Neen, the starter town. Also, there are night vision potions.
You can steal a candlestick to light dark places, there is one where you find your first knife, in the starter house. Bet candles don't work underwater though

But there is no mage's guild in Seyda Neen. So finding that spell might prove hard. I don't remember needing light in the smugglers cave though.
Turn brightness up? =)
