The game was running fine and I was finally starting to understand the interface and enjoy the game after three days of playing. Now I'm getting frequent crashes, randomly - not in combat but whenever. I've read a lot of the threads but I have to admit most of the discussion is way beyond my comprehension. I do not think the problem is my computer as this is a brand new machine with all the bells whistles, but there may be a problem somehwere. Trouble is, I don't even know where to look to get the information about my system or the sound/video card etc.

Can anyone tell me how to get this information so I can put it in this thread and maybe get some help?

This game sure seems to be jinxed for me!

Click start/system/control panel/display. This will tell you what your video card is and its settings including driver. From control panel you can also open system and look at all the harware on your computer. This is also one way to install new drivers. Your crashing problems could be related/interelated to a number of problems. Drivers/memory/overheating etc...

Is there a reference to a file in the access violation, e.g. to "mss32.dll"?
