Jaz, you donīt have to switch tasks to make screenshots. See the GothicDot thread.
Let UO SUtil run in the background, with default settings. You can make ~1 pic per second with printscreen.
To further improve the quality you can change zLevelLODStrength to 0 in the gothic.ini.

Stand on the bridge near the abandoned mine, look in direction of the OC and make a screenshot. The difference is obvious if you examine the OC in the background.

If you only want to play the game itīs probably just a waste of performance because you are focussed on short distance.

...uhhh... which thread are you referring to? And what's UO SUtil...?
Help, please... please... I promise to reenact that night and post links to the screenshots I'll eventually make if you'll help me...
...and provided, of course, the NPCs'll do the same stupid stuff they did last time.

I might take screenies of all those guys doing idiotic things and then threaten to publish the pics UNLESS THEY PAY ME 10 ORE A DAY!
Ahahahaha....

Use resolution 1024*768*32 and play around with the jpg-compression option until you get a file size of ~100kB per pic.

Okay, I did it. Too bad they didn't do the same stuff as before... not everybody, at least, and I have to admit I erred in case of Cutter. He left his post at 23:30, not 22:00 as I stated earlier.

Here the links to some pics (much too dark, but toying with contrast, gamma and stuff didn't make them any better, either):

Cutter and his gang getting stuck on the stairs again - this time they didn't get some sleep before 4:00

Skip trying to sleep in the same bed as another guard - one of them got up, the other laid down. You can only see the other guard's legs here. Oh and yes, Skip leaves his post at 23:30, joins some guys at the campfire and leaves 30 minutes later for the dorm.

Thorus going to bed early... unlike last time I visited him. Oh, by the way, when I returned to his place shortly after 4:00 in the morning, Arto and Scar were there, too (now I don't wonder about Thorus' bedroom-of-many-beds anymore:)). Perhaps they got stuck in the living room door last time around, as they never made it to this room then.

Diego at the fallen tower in the middle of the night. I talked to him, but he didn't have anything new to say.

And finally, here's a nice pic of my man Scorpio shortly before he left his post.

Thug camp people didn't do anything interesting, day and night, they stand at the same place doing almost nothing.
I read post about they are part of an unfinish story line and should affect your game at all.
So I lead the troll to them hopefully to see a good killing, Well the Thugs ran like crazy..
I just love what how smart these NPCs are.
After that I just kill them all. Not too must fun, but anything for XP.

Nice pics, Jaz.
Could you please mail me these pics (and some more if you want) in a higher resolution?
I would like to use some of them as pic of the day.

Ohhh... since I - by accident - deleted exactly those I posted here I can't mail them. But I have a few from that very same night/series. Just tell me which format and resolution you'd like to have them...

In two formats, both .jpg:
1.1024*768*32, size 100-120k, whatever filename you want, then please put 'r_' in front of it (as indication for 'reader submission')
2.200*150*32, size 5-10k, filename: tn_r_PicName.
All this is only half as complicated as it seems.
