so: no romance with imoen since she's not gonna be available, apparently. where can i find these cheat codes? specifically, instant kill one. i don't like to cheat my first time through the game, but im dying in the easiest difficulty here! i finished the nalia quest and now i'm in the shadow den, without a mage. i can't identify the magic two handed swords i got off the skeletons so half my party can't damage those stupid shadow beasts!! after the shadow place, i'll switch it back to medium.

Everything you could possibly want to win BG2 is here. Walkthroughs, cheats, trainers, and extras.

I tried to romance Jaheira; but I must have said the wrong thing at a critical time, because she turned real cold to me and I could not re-kindle the romance. Even in adventuring, there should be quite time for romance

Just a little note - Jaheira is harder than Viconia(at least I feel she is).

Another thing is, Anomen(for girls) is the easiest romance in the game. He made up his mind the second he joined, and making him "not love" you is the hardest part.

Remember, she lost her husbond, Khalid, in the beginning of the game; no wonder she's "hard to get".

I'm not going to ruin anything for you Paladin... but when 'romancing' Jaheira... remember that she DID recently lose her husband AT ALL TIMES.

The same thing happened to me; but I think I messed up by flirting with another female when I should have talked with Jaheira. I think I didn't react correctly to a key statement, blowing my chances with both women. Nuts, I thought a little romance would have added something. I can only assume that the romance faded to black much like Ulitma 9

Any sort of 'lovemaking' is done during the course of the resting camp-fire scene. There's just dialogue before and after it. But who would want to see paper-doll sex?

The romances play a key role in the ends of the games... at least, they do if you want them too. They're interesting in how they intertwine with the main plot.

did anyone get attacked by bandints in the druid grove with cernd? cuz i did and they took jaheira hostage. i tried all the possibilities and the best one seemed to give up my gear, and even then jaheira told me to shut up and talk later. i did the right thing here, right?

That was a romance script. You were supposed to be the brave hero. You definately messed that one up.

son of a B- wait a minute. when i said take me, she was all "do you realize that he could have killed you!?" and derrogatives of that. when i attacked them she said "do you realize they could have killed me??" and derrogatives of that and i don't wanna think of what she would have said if i said "please, don't take my gear! take her, but leave my stuff alone!" so i'm pretty damn sure that "take it, but let her go" was the best thing to do. if it wasn't, this game has a bad way of representing it.
