Try doing all the quest possible before joining a camp.
Then make a save in a new slot so you can come back to it later.

Yes. After you beat the game, you can reload the save and play as a member of another camp. There are many possibilities for you.

to get a sleep spell you have to help the guys that mash goop, you talk to the named one and he says this guy missed a shift, so you go talk to this guy, hurt him, and say GO DANGIT! and he says... ok... then you go and talk to the baal and he gives you a quest and... YADDA YADDA OK he gives you a sleep spell and you use it on the weirdo baal and its all cool.

when I beat the game, I start from beggining, so I can do other things better, too. |
