Since you don't bother to mention the real consequences there is no discussion possible. However, I will say that being able to avoid the consequences is (for all intents and purposes) the same thing as not having the consequences in the first place (particularly when the game makes the avoidance sooooo easy). _________________ When everything else in life seems to fail you - buy a vowel. |

No Real Consequences, Period! |
|
To argue that there are real consequence, but that there are simply many ways to avoid them is to admit there are no real consequences. If it is simple to avoid consequences, they are not real. I killed the girl in the Thieve's Guild and simply had to pay money, which is plentiful, to avoid consequences. This is incompetent game design. That is a fact, not an opinion. |

I don't think this game got lesser consequences than any other game. There may be some easy ways to repair some unfortunate decisions, but the game still got lots of consequence in many areas.
EX:
1) Do a lot of innocent killing, and get caught by the guards: You can either fight to your own dead, or go to jail and loose a lot of stats, for loosing practice.
2) Try disobeying the highmage Mr Fyr, while he helps you remove the "Corprus curse" and you will stuck with the curse forever.
3) Try kill or get enemies with key-NPC's, and see your main quest go down the drain, or at least get very hard!
4) Paying a fine or bribe is also a consequence, even if it sometimes seems to easy a solution! |
