| Mage guild diapierance of the dwarves, help |

Arch mage Trebonius gave me a quest to find out what hapend to the dwarves, but no real info on where to start, iv talked to eveybody in ALL the mage guilds to try and find clues but no luck. plz help) |

Trebonius is crazy, it's supposed to be a joke, nobody knows what happened to the Dwemer (of course books and such drop hints)

This is the spoiler forum, so I'll mention that there is a Dwemer still alive, in the bottom of Tel Fyr, in the Corprusorium, who has information on what probably happened. You'll meet him along the main quest. Trebonius is nutz though, don't take quests from him, lol. |

You can finish the quest for Trebonius, I think. I was wondering about this as well, and looked at the dialogue option in the editor. If you find the book 'The Egg of Time' in one of the Dwemer ruins, and speak to him with it, it looks as though he will admit you've answered his query. I do have the Egg of Time, but cannot remember which ruin it came from. It was certainly a ruin that Edwinna Elbert sends you to on her quests. |
