Can someone plz help me?
I just cant seem to figure out how to pickpocket
Cassia said to talk to distract them, then check them for bulges in pockets
and such,, wich made no sense to me! |

So Cassia taught you how to pickpocket? That's great! Just ignore what she said to you. The hero himself will understand.
During conversations (i.e. when you're talking to people), there will be a new option: Pickpocket (in parentheses). Select the Pickpocket option and hopefully you can steal stuff from the target.
Final note: The success rate for pickpocket depends on your dexterity. |

Yea, I figured that out the hard way. I wasnt able to complete the first thieves guild quest until I increased my dex. |

I didnt pickpocket to do that part, I just beat up contantino, looted him and his chest, and cast oblivion on him

i'm sorry i know this topic was posted a few times, but.... where on Innos' good Korinus is the place where u can learn the thieves guild...agean sorry but could u tell me at least one way to get there.

Try these quests:- Bandit Raids, given by Hakon (weapon dealer)
- False Messenger, given by Nagur / Kardif (bar at the harbor)
- A Brazen Thief, given by Jora (merchant at marketplace)
If you complete them all in a good or bad way, a shady person will come to you and provide you with details about the Thieves' Guild. |

When you talk to someone, possible to pickpocket it will say this:
(It would be damn hard to take his purse) or whatever.

The hardest to steal was from Diego. Needed over 110 Dex or more. But it gave me 400 Exp. One tip - can somebody tell if I`m right - if I`m not mistaken for every stolen thing Exp given grow with every chapter. I mean that in 1st you are given 25 or 50 Exp while in last for the same 200. So while most NPC can be robbed only once try rob them in chapter 5 (exept of those who will leave the game after certain quest). Or maybe I`m wrong and Exp depends only on how hard it was to steal. Somebody tried that or noticed as I did? |

I'm totally not sure, but whether the difficulty is "child's play" or "damn hard", I still got the same experience for pickpocketing. So, I think (probably not right) that the EXP does not depends on the difficulty.
The EXP definitely depends on which chapter I'm on because I got different amount of experience when I steal stuff from the SAME person. (through save and reload methods)
So, my summary: EXP probably depends on which chapter you're in but not on the difficulty. |

So best is to wait with pickpocketing as long as possible. |

nvm i waited 2 days for someone to come....o resatrted........u could of just told me to turn in the "Brazen thief" and deal with the guy behind the fish place...then go for a swim to the sewers..
