once you beat him up, talk to him and tell him to go to replace Ghorim, he'll begin walking very slowly towards the mashers....talk to Orun, you may have to wait till Horlock actually arrives i think, which could be awhile... |

It don't takes that long until he gets there.
If you are to strong, he runs away and you must beat him up fast. _________________ The original RED poster (retired now)

Yep. This is like a multi part quest. The first part is to find Ghorim's replacement. The second part Orun will give you when you talk to him. Do his quest and the other quests that follow it. You'll actually end up delivering weed to the Old Camp from this quest! hee hee _________________ Erb Duchenne |

There is actually a bug associated with this quest. If you follow him on his way there he will end up falling off the ladder and killing himself. You could just drink a speed potion and run to talk to Orun before he arrives. That would mean you would have to complete talking to him and run away before Horlock got to the top of the ladder. I discovered through trial and error that if your not close enough to see him fall off the ladder then he won't.
This bug doesn't prevent you from completing the quest. Its just one of those things that weighs down on your conscience if your trying to play the role of a savior. |
