Stuck? Old Mine, Ian and the search for minecrawlers nest

I am in chapter 2, and I got the mission from Sect camp to return to old mine and search for minecrawlers nest.

I already have the cog wheel (found it when I was there first time, fetching the list). If I understood correctly, Ian is supposed to give me permission to enter the deeper parts of the mine after I give the wheel part to him... he says nothing. Neither does Asghan. All the templars say same things they did during the first mine visit.

A bug? Or am I missing something?

Any insight on this greatly appreciated...!

You could use Marvin mode to mark "the wheel quest" done. If you want to do so check out the cheat section here ( rpgdot )

When I talk to Ian, there are no dialogue options available, just [END].

I wonder is the script broken, since I found the wheel part earlier (cleaned out the small caves from minecrawlers too), maybe I shouldn't have done that...

I found the wheel earlier as well and I didn't have any problems with the mission, so that couldn't have been it .

Bummer, I figure I'll have to start experimenting with that Marvin mode then... wouldn't have wanted to do that. Shucks.

Great game, nevertheless!

Yep. I just fear that fooling around with some editor I'll screw up the rest of the game somehow.

Oh, bugs... I just love them.
