I've never understood this smilie:
Looks like it's got food stuck on its teeth, and is trying to surreptitiously take it out. _________________ "Tree stuck in cat. Firemen baffled."--Simcity 3K

I tend to think of it as a chuckle. But that's just me. _________________ Freeeeeeedom! Thank heavens it's summer!

Hmmm, actually if we compare these two subjects: (A) (B)
...we can clearly see the vertical lines marking the teeth on subject B. Subject A has got no such lines, which means that that white thingie in his mouth we're seeing is not really a set of teeth. Therefore, subject A is not chuckling, but actually foaming at the mouth. _________________ "Tree stuck in cat. Firemen baffled."--Simcity 3K

That's not supposed to be funny or anything. I really think those set of smilies look weird. _________________ "Tree stuck in cat. Firemen baffled."--Simcity 3K

At least the banana smilie doesn't have weird teeth. _________________ "Tree stuck in cat. Firemen baffled."--Simcity 3K

Glad you like it, Pinnen! I ran across it on a forum somewhere, and decided to grab a local copy. There was no attribution on it, so if anyone knows where it came from, I'd be very interested.
Goshuto, I don't know how you can prefer subject B there - look at the colour of its skin, it's obviously deceased and is decomposing. That's not a smile, it's the skin retracting over the poor guy's face! And he's got no ears... It's only a 15 by 15 pixel graphic - don't expect a perfect work of art! _________________ Charlie Dobbie

Thanks Pinnen, I needed a good laugh, and my grandson was here and cracked up. _________________ =Member of the Nonflamers Guild=

Lawanda laughs at the happy bouncing banana.
Thanks, Pinnen. So you're the guy who hates smilies? It's a pleasure to meet you. Hell, I'll happily join your club! _________________ -=Professional Secret Agent=-

Very pleased to meet you too, ms Lawanda. Hate is such a strong word though, I prefer dislike. But whatever your phrase of choice might be, feel welcomed to join me on my crusade against the distasteful little emotion-shortcuts.
Edith wonders if it's somekind of well known RPGDot fact that Pinnen doesn't like smilies, and if not how else did you find out about my personal taste? _________________ CaptainWorshipperNonFlamer
