Items on the ground - unbelievable problem
   

I don't know how to pick up items on the ground... Pls someone tell me...

Is Gothic like Morrowind? I think of the fighting style and so on...

you have to hold down the mouse button, then you press foward to pick up the item...and I guess the two games are similar in some ways. they are both really good though.

BTW, I heard Gothic is the greatest RPG ever. I'm not sure about that. After I play, I'll see if Deutschland uber alles. Till then...patience:)

What is frustrating about playing Gothic with a mouse? I liked it a lot better than just playing with the keyboard.

Using the mouse is far superior to playing with keyboard only. Goes for just about any game. In my opinion, naturally.

Yep, use the mouse to look and set WASD for your fwd, back &strafe. An for the love of God, set the inventory key to "i" and the player stat key to "p". Itll make things easier =]
