I got the quest to get the code book from the woman in the South Wall, she won't tell me about it if i don't join the thieves guild! But i don't want to be a thief! How can i finish this quest!? |

Well you could try compliments or intimidation if you have the skill. Otherwise crossinig her palms with some cold hard cash (maybe 100 gold) worked well for me. |

I've sucessfully taunted and intimidated her but she will not give the code book or attack. I'm haveing trouble because i can't take on the whole guild either. Please spoil me.

I 'sliped her some gold the. have also success full taunted her..keep taunting until she like u about 5 then bribe her back up. rinse and repeat until she attacks and after you kill her you get your gold back. |

I think you only need to bump her disposition up to 70 for her to willingly hand it over.

Guess that i have to keep trying. After posting i read a walkthrough that says this quest can't be done if you're a member of the theivs guild. Don't care about loosing membership but can't take on entire guild.
