| Whats with this mario guy? (Gothic 2) |

I finished gothic 2 a looong time ago but this question im gonna ask now realy set me up thinking when i was searching for people on my ship some strange guy called mario wanded to join me well i tought ok you may join but when i reached the island lester says he has a bad feeling about mario so whats the deal with this mario? |

OK, plot spoiler then: If you take Mario with you then when you get to the island he can run off to a secret pipe tunnel where he consumes vast amounts of flowers and mushrooms, which cause him to grow into a giant with the ability to throw fireballs. Very nasty!

He turns on you because he is possessed. Easy experience as he's worth 300 when you kill him. And you can bring his book back to Vatras if you bring him.

Aye, he's a mediocre fighter and an interesting plot diversion, but not much else, don't worry if you missed it.
