its easiest as a sect person because you can get magic so early, that orc is nothing compaired to my fireball!

i like the new camp best.....

use the sword well, get to 1h master and keep a steady rythm of swings, up,left,right,up,left,right,right,up......as long as you hit them each time they cant counter swing at you

(however when you yourself are casting spells l8er in the game it can suck though, because if they hit you you have to charge it again)

If you join the new camp, the smartest move would be to NOT get 1H master at all.. it saves you 20skillpoints, and since Lee is willing to teach you 2H weapons(expert/master) without becoming a 1H master(the other teachers demand 1H mastery).. you can save 20 skillpoints by joining the new camp(get 20 extra in str instead).

You know, it's never good to switch to 2h weapons too early in the game..
I'll tell you what I did: I used 1h weapons even though I trained in 2h; I waited to become a master in 2h and get at least 88str, before I switched to 2h fighting..
It is very important to know when to switch. Going for 2hw too early can result in unadequate real damage, due to poor usage of the weapon..

Nah.. expert 2H, 50 str and the rusty two-hander from Stones' chest will do a lot of damage, AND you get the advantage of a two-hander to keep your foes at a distance(it's not that hard with 1handers, but easier with 2handers)..

What?!

Btw, let me just remind you I can carry out 5 moves(strike, swingx2, spin and 2 quick swings) with master 1h, while you can only manage to connect 2-3 with trained 2h. Not to mention that you're definitely too slow that way, and you wouldn't robably manage to protect yourself in time..

Of course you would.. front-front-block-front-front-block.. this attack can kill anything from Shadowbeasts to Orcs without losing a single hitpoint..

@Maylander and HwFanatic:Why bothering with 1h and 2h swords when you have crossbow?

Because the crossbow fire-rate is too low to take on several foes at once(at least before you get a lot of dex & master crossbowskill).

Well, it was a good try, but I've played through this game too many times to give in about weapons - twohanders are much better at keeping several foes at a distance, and that reason alone is good enough to wield'em as soon as you become expert..

Exatly! As soon as, but not before..
That last remark of yours was the very thing I was trying to explain to you.. I guess we just missunderstood each other.

I did say expert in both this post, and in one of the first posts about this subject..

So, perhaps it was a missunderstanding, but I did say expert..
