After you meet Gorn, follow him to the cave. Take everything off the chests. Then go back to the original meeting point. Gorn will be following you. Go across the chasm and then you'll approach a gate. Transform into a meatbug and go under the hole. You directly across the area and you'll see another cave. The focus stone is inside.
The stranger is involved in a quest in which you search for books named Chromanin.

You shouldn't of told him to transform into a meatbug. Let him find out himself. It's a good test of your intteligence to see how long it took you to figure that out.
