Baal Cadar deals with magic stuff, fortuno deals with weed, Darrion deals with weapons, and you can sleep in lesters hut without getting beat up.

It's tough to find your way around .
1. Use a torch/spell, to give light at night.
2. Don't travel at night.
3. If you are trying to get somewhere, and
(a.) You come across a place you've been
to. Don't go there again. Unless...
(1.) You haven't checked out every
avenue that leads from the location.
(b.) Run around aimlessly; eventually by some
statistical law you will find what you're looking
for.
4. Read a Map!
5. Ask for help on the forums, there's bound to be someone
helpful there.

I've played all three camps, but everytime I go through this forum I still learn something new. It's impossible to have tried everything, and it's certainly impossible to cover absolutely everything in a single walkthrough.

My advice to you is to actually play out every possibility yourself, before writing about it. Don't just rely of other's words and write a whole section of walkthrough you haven't personally experienced first hand.

Also, consider how detailed you want the walkthrough to be. For example, when you're describing lockpicking a chest... are you going to describe every single item in the chest too? (So that the player can decide if the chest is worth opening) Will you give the combination of the lock? Will you tell people what items each character carries, so they can decide who to beat up and steal items from?

Or are you just interested in a general walkthrough which can be serviced just the same with a much simpler version already on the internet?

Also... what Gorath mentioned about text file and html is very important. If you're going to have one long text file, you can't have pictures. There are already several text file walkthroughs out there, and the files can only be downloaded whole and 'as is'.

Having it as a web page allows you to include pictures, sounds and more... but you'll probbaly have to devide the entire walkthrough into sections (many pages) and you have to know html formatting. You can't expect your hosting website to do the formatting for you, especially if you have over 30 pages of text and pics.

Try to determine what's so different about your walkthrough... and why someone would recommend yours over all the others out there.

Finally, you have to get some volunteers who've never played Gothic who will be willing to follow your walkthrough. Sure you understand your own walkthrough. But the reality is that others might not. Get as much feedback as you can. If everything is positive till now... hey! I'm sure Gorath and gang will consider publishing it.
