Dunno if its me but i just dont have a clue where to go when i get in the valley ie through the pass gate. If anyone can give me directions from there to the castle id be very grateful, as every corner i turn i seem to bump into 7-8 orcs and 3 orc mages, its really annoying  If n e 1 can give me a walkthrough to the castle id be eternally grateful. Here are sum nice plants
dragon root - 1st hut where u fight buster on landowner farm. Behind there tree stump, on there.
dragon root - bottom of stairs to bengar farm in the clearing normally scavengers there. On one of the tree stumps.
Kings surrel (  mite not be rite name) - east gate follow path to the right by the stairs to the moatish thing, tree stump around it
will post more when i know more if wanted?

There is a very long topic with many posts KING`S SORELLS. If You find some new location add there. Nobody yet posted about dragon root thoug I saw one on goblin berries.
There is the other way to the Valley. After entering via fnce with two knights guarding go little further and look on your`s left. There should be small passage right around first corner. It leads to the cave leading further up where you can meet some goblins by campfire. Go to the other side and find entrance to the mine. You will enter the Valley with no orc encounter. |

and from there is it easy to find the castle and the group im supposed to find? b4 i climbed up a mountain side then up this spiral thingy and then i saw this cut screen of a dragon attackin. Then i kept climbing up this mountain and ended up by a lake surrounded by orcs? is that the same way

It`s rather the river and You should easly see castle that is besieged by those orcs. You may have low visibility distance set in the games options. Was palying 220%. Anyway castle is behind Orcs. |

If you are at a lake surrounded by orcs, your probably where the prisoners dropped in at the start of gothic 1. (hint, there is something valuable around the pond/lake)
When you enter the mine and get the load screen(now you are in the old prison colony area)turn left and go down hill. Right leads to the orcs/lake, so go left. The castle will be on your left, but you'd have to have vis set to 10% to not see it lol.
