Mistmare

Hello all

Has anyone out there actually bought and played Mistmare?
I'm dying for a new RPG to play and this is the lastest one
out, so I'm wondering about getting it.

But, I've seen quite a few dodgy things written about it.
Whats everyones opinions??

Cheers.

Jellylad,

I was in the same position as you............wanting something new to play and Mistmare was just released.

However, I played the demo and found the interface.....umm.....a bit fiddly, shall we say...or not user friendly.

I also, then read a review in PCG or PCZ and they gave it 40% and a bit of a slagging, so that put me off.

There have been a few threads about the I/F and some patches coming that may sort the controls........search for those.

Sadly, I have heard nothing good about this game.

So, in the bleak desert that is the RPG genre at the moment, I have reinstalled a couple of old favourites......Fallout 2 and BG2.

I forgot how good these were.

You could always buy Mistmare from Game / Electroniques Boutique and make use of their 10 day returns policy, just to satisfy yourself.

Regards,

Hexmaster
