Great job, Jaz! But I'm wondering: is poor 'ol naked Aaron actually wielding a bone in the last shot, or is it something else? (And if so, how did you get him to do it?)

It is a piece of ham, I think.

Woah, I was referring to the picture not the story. Crisis averted.

D'oh! Oh well, at least it had a bone in it somewhere, and I wasn't just hallucinating completely. Although that could've been the case, didn't get much sleep last night

Excellent story! It really had the "feel" of gothic to it. I would like to know why you chose this particular person. Also, do you plan to wright about others, or just stick with this one?

An introvert in a world of extroverts. Very nice story. Good movement and flow.

sauron38: as I already said, I don't know about the actual end yet. Perhaps I'll have a strike of genius one day

Thanks Phil Yes, he's wielding a bone. To be exact, it's the skeleton's femur (you can see the skeleton in the pic). And I got him to hold it by asking... j/k, I painted the bone.

Gig: Thanks Gig! Seeing how I spent three days at work to write it (I know, I'm a bad, bad gurl ) and two nights to shoot and retouch the pics, it will take some time to write a new one, especially since my hubby started to become jealous

Thanks Val! Go, go, go, Val, finish yours!

Thanks, the COOH! Perhaps it had the Gothic 'feel' because I took great care to play it out as far as possible? I still have a savegame called 'Aaron's Story'...
I didn't have a story at all at first; when I picked Aaron to star, though, the rest came quite natural. I chose him because... hmmm... he's a minor NPC with very few lines who disappears from view relatively early - which gave me some artistical freedom, and my protagonist had to be a guard, I knew that much - I'm an OC guard fangirl . Besides, he looks as if he was about my age, he has a moronic job and his reaction to 'Me's theft was rather mild, to say the least - it all made it quite easy for me to relate to him.

I already wrote another story, or at least parts of it. It's about a female 'Me', but with about 40 pages of text (this one was 18 in Word) it's only partly done, I rarely have the nerve to finish a story. Then, it's in German, and being the lazy bum that I am I'll probably never translate it, anyway .
I don't know if I'll write another Aaron story as the fall of the barrier is nigh. At least I didn't plan on doing another one.

ffbj: Thank you ! An introvert? Never noticed that. Being my 'creature', Aaron probably turned out to be a lot like me... especially the flower pot thingy. Each birthday I hope and I pray, 'No, not another one! Pleeease! Go away!'

Cheapy: As I said, I'm probably not going to write a sequel, but then again, who knows?

TheLonePaladin: Thank you ! The part with the crook's garb was obvious, I confess, but it was the only course of action I could think of then...

So another thank you to all of you, and go ahead, write your own stuff!

What I meant by an introvert is that the character is always talking to himself. We see the world as he describes it. How he/she reacts to the various situations, and what he is thinking at the time. 'I pulled my sword, overcome by the moment,' 'I'm gonna get that guy who set me up.' etc...
