Star Wars: KoTOR first look/impression thread |
|
Literally biggest RPG this year, and only 2-3 days away from on sale. So anyone already got promotional/preview /retail copy, welcome first impression here. |

It 's not the biggest RPG of the year (Gothic 2), but I'm also looking forward for KOTOR. _________________ Moderator and Council Magician of the RPGDot Shadows

I'm sure you've all seen our news page linking to the first review out. It's rather short and it's out too quickly, really (other than major sites like Gamespot who have full-time writers and advance access)...but it scores 100% (6/6). If they're even half right, it should be pretty good, but apart from posting news I won't find out personally until the PC version is out. |

Speaking of PC version, when it supposes to hit the stores? _________________ Money - An article which may be used as a universal passport to everywhere except heaven, and as a universal provider of everything except happiness. |

PC version = last quarter this year.
I like the review at Gamespot, more critical than the review at IGN. The reviewer was capable of picking up a lot of weaknesses. Anyhow, the score of beyond 90% from two major game sites indicate that this recent Bioware's title is an excellent candidate to become a top title among RPG fans like Baldur's Gate and Fallout series, or among top sellers such as Max Payne, GTA3, Half life. Good for RPG genre itself.
P.S:
Just few days ago there were only several pages of KoTOR discussion threads at GameFAQs, now growing up to 125 pages! |
