Quest status when switching chapters.

Should I try to finish all my open quest before I move on to chapter 2,
or will they still be listed under "current quest"?

Yes, do not worry about it, but it's recommended that you finish the most quests you can untill you continue.
Just remember that there are some quests that you can only finish on future chapters

Are there any quest that will be shifted to the "failed mission" category if I don't finish them in this chapter?
