I think hanna is the best choice..
the key is the key to the thives guild treasure.. a LOT of money.. its on an islend not far from shore.. you can see an islend that you can go on but if you go ferther you see a drounded ship there is an islend next to it.. kill the lizerds and find the cave with the 4 treasure chasts..

you give the ledger to Thorben then buy it back, give it to the innkeeper orogon or whatever his name is and buy it back from him, take it to hanna and get the key. the key is for the fourth chest in the thieves treasury on the island in front of the harbour.

buying the book back for 100 gp twice may seem expensive but you get three times xp for it. i dont know why they dont just rip out the pages and are so willingly to have the book themselves. dont they trust the mercenary that brings them the damn book?

when you give it to Hanna you can knock her down and sell the book to a merchant that is more money and more exp(when knocking hanna down)

well what do we have here. so it's rewarding to knock innocent woman down and steal their money? allright then we are a mercenary so ofcourse we should do evil stuff although it costs an oblivion spell for 100 gp's so dont know about the the money

Before you do this ... you can knock down Ignaz (a couple times ) ... this way you get free Oblivian spells

I guess that Wolverine has brought up some interesting points of ethics regarding our "Hero" being rewarded for stealing, killing and knocking down women. I think I might have to go elsewhere to discuss the moral implications of gaming. It looks an interesting subject. In the meantime I bought back the ledger each time and will continue to the next crossroads in this complex multifaceted game. Once again thanks.
