Ryzom: Review @ Loadedinc

Loadedinc have tossed up a review of Nevrax' fantasy MMORPG 'The Saga of Ryzom'. Rating: 5/10.
Among the current crop of new MMORPG's is The Saga of Ryzom from the french company Nevrax. Nevrax was founded in 2000 and has used its own platform NeL to create what it terms as a Science Fantasy game. The game comes on both DvD and CD, the patching process is relatively painless.

The game's action takes place on the planet of Atys. This is the first of the planets available, subsequent expansions of the game are planned to add others and space travel. Atys itself has the full range of climates you would expect from a modern game. The flora and fauna is verdant, however even at a medium clipping range plantlife tends to get blurred and blocky. Nevrax has avoided the norm of Human, Elf, Dwarf, Orc as its playable races and has created four of its own.
