| Killing dragons, tactics? |
|
I got two dragons left... but the rock dragon was kinda annoying since I had a hard time finding a chance to hit him since the dragon breath threw me all the way back to the city.  Any tactics on how to be able to hit the dragon without taking as much damage? |

ok i have some points, i was a mage first time around... if ur mana is like 35+ then buy heal mediem wound scrolls, not many 2 or 3. and if u want to avoid getting hit altogether try pressing "A" or "D" to dodge shots.

buy shrink scrolls hahhahhaha  and shrink them  u are going to laugh yourself into pieces i did it on the undead dragon(boss) they cant attack you then and are very weak oh im extremly evil 
edit: fire dragon is on the volcano place where was chromanin 2 and Ur-Shak first time in gothic 1

i know an easy way to slay the stonedragon: if you stand before the dragen he blows his firebreath, so take yust enough distanz so he doesn't hit you. he blow his breath 2 times, and then stops like 2 a 3 seconds: enough time to hit him a couple a times. repeat this and he is as good as dead

use HORROR(?) spell. It is better than Shrink spell i think, coz u dont get hit once. |

Fear spell scroll may be easily purchased from mage merchants such as Gorax (inside monastery) and Isagorath (chapel outside monastery).
For Shrink spell scroll, you may want to visit Zuris at the city marketplace. He may have some. |

If you dopn't want to use spells....just run towards them swinging your sword at them...9/10 chance they alwys simply fly away and around to either direction...so you jsut follow and swing again...you can take off a fair deal of damage before you actually get hit by something...it's brute force...but it works... BAHHAHA i kicked their arse pertty bad... |

I used a summon skeleton spell, the 3 merchants already mentioned should have them, I only used it on the fire dragon though, i was strong enough to pelt the other dragons easy, just use the tactics mentioned already, hit, run, hit run (and dodge if you need to)

I've played twice, once as a mage and once as a paladin, and i've had no trouble killing any of the dragons, including the last one. After I talked to them I ran back a little and from a safe distance started to bash them with spells, dodging their shots (it was a liitle hard with fire dragon since he had a nasty habit to stick near the entrance to the crater). Although this took 40!! mana potions as a paladin (for each dragon), because his holy arrow is weak and I had 25 mana pts (including two mana plus rings). I don't know if anyone can kill them purely with sword (except for the first). I remember the last dragon push me with his fire breath all the way down the hall and then down the stairway almost to the bottom. Any one killed it with a sword? I'd like to here how. |

Killed them all with sword. Paladin sword forged by Harad cocecrated once. It was enough to give from 4 to maybe 7 hits. Was just coming to them with my weapon on and maybe one of them was able to hit me with firebreath. Quick up and hit again. If they fly I followed. Don`t remember the level nor stats of those glourious moments but for me far more dangerous creatures were firelizards - especially few of them. |

I killed the two last dragons with holy arrows, stupid dragons hardly attacked me.  And yeah, fire lizards are crazy!  |
