What is the comparison to the Pentiums.....ie. is yours equal to a PIII 600?
I thought my pc would be fine, but unless I have everything dialed down, it's choppy. PIII800, 128MB, 32mb video card, no-cd patch. I have to do the lowest resolution for smothest game play, the 800x600 for so so gameplay. Anything over that or using any of the AI, Far or shadows makes the performance so lousy, I'm recalling the 286 days.
Bottom line, you'll be able to play it, but you'll have to just dial things up everyonce in a while just to remind yourself how truly beautiful the graphics are.... _________________ Whenever I feel blue, I start breathing again.

How will an AMD Athlon 550 with 320 Mb of RAM and a Geforce Pro run the game. What kind of resolution or graphical quality? |

Because both of you (Helpme and qwert) have not really quick PCs (at least for MW), here are some tips what to do:
1) defragment (or format)
2) install
3) disable all backgrounds programs (visible)
4) use some utility to disable all invisible background programs (if you are skillful PC user, you can use msconfig.exe, just type msconfig into Run in your Start menu)
5) use remove safe disk hack, it will greatly improve performance
6) turn off realtime shadows (big problem for performance even with highest PCs)
7) set visible distance to half
8) AI distance to half
9) 3D sound off (EAX off)
10) make yourself sure you use newest drivers
@Helpme, you will need to strictly follow these rules to be able to play this game and even then, you will probably have not really good gameply, your CPU is really slow. |
