game crash on loadup screen to the Old Mine (Ch.2) |
|
Gothic worked fine so far on my computer (AMD 1G XP) but when i try to reenter the Old Mine in Chapter 2 the game crashes on the loadup screen without any error message and i'm back on the desktop.
Perhaps anyone encountered the same problem and can offer a solution. |

How many times have you tried this? I remember it happening to me once. _________________ Make good choices. |

I tried it perhaps 10 times by now, always with the same result: i end up at the desktop. Even after walking around a few "in-game days". This really sucks. It such a good story and the game would be great if it wouldn't be one big bug! |

Load one of your other savegames and try to enter the mine. _________________ Webmaster GothicDot |

By now I nearly tried everything: loading a previous savegame, reinstalling the whole game (which made some problems by the way).
I'd love to know which newbie programmed this game!!! To my opinion it's a kind of a fraud selling such a pre-beta game version for the price of a finished one!
