| Questions about Soulstones |
|
hey there forum-goers, i just wanted to know , Where do i find Soulstones above petty and lesser? and what about that re-useable soulstone i heard about? the daedra star or something? anyone know where thats located?
also , whats the best thing to catch in each grade of soulstone? i think golden saint is the best for grand correct?
what about the others? anyone know?
well i kinda feel bad asking all these questions,
but thanks in advance for your responses. |

The re-usable one is Azura's Star. You must go to the Shrine of Azura and get a quest from her. (Once you get there, it is safe; don't be fooled by the Daedric layout.)
There is a mod where a Soulgem seller is placed into the Balmora Mages Guild, else, I would just look around the wizard towns. I think I have found ~13 Common, ~9 Greater, and ~5 Grand Soul Gems, with my level 20 Mage.
I am unsure of the best thing for each... but do not feel bad asking these questions.

Mucho thanks Sauron, so far i've used my custom 9-second 100%chameleon spell to bag all the greater soulgems in the argonian mission , the nord mission and a couple mage guilds, also i just found out that those bone lord guys drop common soulgems.
oh yea , is there any way to remove a soul from a soulgem without destroying the soulgem? i kinda forgot to ask this question the first time around. |

Only with Azura's Star, can you re-use it. (I think, I have not visited the Southeast, of yet.)

ah ok , thanks , i kinda messed up and stuck a rat in a soulgem one level higher than it belonged in. not to mention the three kwama workers i soultrapped because they just LOOKED mean... and since then i kinda found out you cant judge all monsters by looks.
well i guess im gonna swim to azura's shrine after i investigate a few of those big X's i see on my handy dandy Vvardenfell map. |
