*SPOILER*
you have to wait untill you have completed the quest where you collect all the focus stones for Saturas, once u have done that you can get all the heavy armors of the 3 camps, (accept the old camp, ull find out why) and about the ore problem, just make crude swords pick lock the chests at all of the black smiths around the colony and make heaps of crude swords, it gets boring but its the best way to get the ore off the merchants so you can buy armor |

Or just knock people out and sell their stuff.
Getting money is easy if you pick up all the items you find, and pay the hunting trainers to teach you to get teeth and skins and such.
Just trade the items for ore at a store. I never had money problems once I joined a camp. This wasn't from benefits from the camp though. When you hit level 5 you probably have enough skill points to kill things and make good money.
Lockpicking level 1 may help too. There are lots of chests with items and ore. |

No matter what Camp or Guild I join I always learn hunting. It's cost is 4 skill points and the return very high. |

what templer armor could possibly be better than the "ore armor" you get later in the game? or even the minecrawler plate armor you can get in act 4 or 5? i dont think templer armor is even close. |

I think the heavy templar armor is like 10pts lower against weapon and fire than the minecrawler plate. |

hahaha, I got one better:
I recorded all the moves for the lockpick combinations in Gomez' 3 level tower, Cor Kaloms Recipe chest, Diego's Chest, and that Storage Room next to Fisk (that greedy bastard) so now everytime I reroll, 1st thing I do is run right into the old camp and within 5 minutes and 1 pockpick, I can rob enough stuff to keep me out of debt for at LEAST the 1st 18-20 levels.
BigKabuto, or you could just collect EVERYTHING you find and cash it in for Ore at your nearest vendor
(Just make sure you make the values the same, vendors dont give you change back
Takes a lot of the stress off of starting a n00bie
