Gamespy previews inXile's Bard's Tale

Gamespy has posted a preview of inXile's Bard's Tale RPG. Their article takes of as humurous as follows
Part Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance, part Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, and part Curb Your Enthusiasm: that's inXile's The Bard's Tale in a nutshell. It sounds like a wacky combination…and it pretty much it is, but it's a recipe that should delight action-RPG fans that are looking for a tight adventure that's sure to induce numerous bouts of sidesplitting laughter.

I never played the original bard's tale but I kind of wish inxile went more rpg and less adventure.

Looks good!

The game looks nice enough. As long as it has some RPG elements (a GOOD story please...) and decent pacing, I wouldn't mind if it's action oriented. I hope it would be something like a Divine Divinity, a mix of hack & slash with RPG elements

Bard's tale

I did play the original Bard's tale and there was nothing funny about it. I don't need humor in my games unless I buy them for that reason.
