Enchanting Problem - Bows 'n' Crossbows
   

I have a major problem with enchanting my bows and crossbows. I enchant my bow with a simple enchantment like "fire damage 10 (CAST WHEN STRIKES)", but when I hit the enemy, no fire damage! How come? I can still enchant cast when used. Please help, because this is making me angry

Enchanting a bow with "cast when strikes" does nothing, because you can't hit an enemy with a bow. You need enchanted arrows. Unfortunately you also can't enchant arrows yourself... but you can find magic arrows, or use the official "Area Effect Arrows" mod, or use another mod that allows you to make magic arrows, like Fletcher or Marksman.
