A new RPG: Grotesque

German based developer Silent Dreams is developing a new RPG called Grotesque, an epic RPG which they describe as follows:
Grotesque is an original blend of traditional Fantasy RPG (like Gothic, Fable, Baldur's Gate, Planescape Torment) and black humor with Adventure Elements (Monkey Island, Discworld)...

Grotesque is scheduled for a QIII/2006 releases, and it currently looking for a publisher, which they hope to find at GC. The website offers a lot of game info, screenshots etc...
Stay tuned for more info...

Those screenshots don't look very encouraging, look more like concept artwork.

the graphics somehow remind me of this game which was never finished: the "neverending story", it was also "produced" germany.

also: i dont think i like the typ of humor in the game.. the story reads very childish..

Maybe you don´t get the point, guys. Grotesque is a parody on typical RPGs and adventures, hidden behind standard RPG game mechanics. They want to deal with the clichés in an ironical way, without watering the gameplay down.

The graphics don´t really matter, IMHO. They look good enough for me, especially because we don´t know how old the screenshots are.
