i am making my own race and i cannnot figure out how to add body parts or special abilities to the race to the race..does anyone know how to do this?

Before starting out with the CS, I would definitely recommend checking out one or more of the fan-made tutorials. The TESCS forum at the official site is a place to go for useful links (most modders seem to hang out there); some tuts are listed here:

As for your question, I don't have the expertise to help with body parts, but adding special abilities is easy enough. Make a spell in the spellmaking tab. Under "Type", choose "Power" or "Ability". Then open the Race dialog from the Character menu. Drag your spell from the spellmaking tab to the "specials" list.

i figured that out yesterday and i also found out how to apply body parts to custom made races..i just hope that there is a quicker way to do..what you do is you go to the body parts tab and you make a new body part..then you apply each one to you new race in the creation screen.....
i am currently working on a Draconian race from the Dragonlance books..when i finish i will probaly post it......
