Hey unlike some folks I've never actualy killed Mud but I do punch him in the head when im tired of him.

See Mud and I make money, lots and lots and lots of money and it's time to get back to work but he's gone missing.

I was working the grindstone near the arena when I beat him up last and he ran off to the market then spun around and ran past me. Thats was the direction of his hut but I have not seen him in 2 or 3 days now.

Is there a way to edit a file to "re-spawn" Mud? Maybe I just need sit outside his hut for a few days? Oh heck, anyway, has anyone ever tried to get him BACK?

I'm sure you can put him back in with Marvin mode...don't know how though I'm afraid.
He didn't run into the castle...?
He did that when I was trying to get rid of him once for all...and I wasn't allowed in there yet...

Well I was up to 2AM last night getting access to the castle. This is my second character and first time I joined a guild.

I bought the game on Tuesday and all I do is play this thing...I am a zombie. Oh anyway!

I had spent a day in the swamp and ran back to the castle by evening and I saved in there. I will spend some more time looking for him.

Without Mud I will have to steal money to stay ahead, it's much easier using the Magic Mud trick.

Getting both money and experience at the same time is easy; get hunting skills.

Just get these skills
Get skin
Get claws
Get teeth
Get lizard skin

And then you run around killing animals, picking up things from them, and then you sell it. This way you get both experience and money.

Get Lizard skin is all but worthless. Don't bother with it until you kill need to swampsharks to get the Ulu-Mulu.

I discovered the Magic Mud trick a few hours into play, when I decided to become a blacksmith.

There I was trying to convert my 10 iron bars into swords to make a 100 ore profit. Well Mud kept interupting me as I was working but I was new so I was expecting him to eventualy say something important to I put up with it.

By the time I was finished I had 20 blades made from 10 iron bars! Apparently if you are performing a blacksmithing task (heating, pounding, cooling, grinding) and Mud interupts you before you stop, it doubles the item your working on.

So my refined method...

1) As soon as you wake up or anytime Mud is not around. Make a single blade from from an iron bar. COST 40 ORE.

2) With mud, use the grindstone near the arena. It is usualy avilable for use. Position Mud near the grindstone so you can press ESC when he talks and then get back to grinding soon after.

3) When your single blade reaches 21 blades, punch Mud a few times.

4) Now without Mud you grind 20 swords. Each sword requires 2 stroke on the mill, about 6 seconds per sword. So grind, stop, grind, stop, etc.

5) Be sure to save 1 blade in your inventory. Now you can use the swords in place of ore when buying items or you can sell them for ore.

6) COST 40 ORE, SALE 1000 ORE, PROFIT 960 ORE.

Or just go to the swamp camp. Open the chest at the black smith and make a bunch of swords without cheating, or dealing with Mud. Spend nothing make a couple thousand worth of ore.
