There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!

That's gotta be Sneakers - another fine Redford movie.

That has got to be a recent BD boy who's right with his 'guess'. You're up Mr. Dobbie.

I love Sneakers. Rarely a month goes by that I don't chuck in the DVD and watch it again - it doesn't lose a thing with repeated viewings. My favourite quote from it would have to be from James Earl Jones - when Whistler asks for "peace on earth and goodwill towards man" he replies, "We're the United States government - we don't do that sort of thing!"

My quote is from rather a classic:

Person 1: Why, you speak treason!
Person 2: Fluently!

Classic as in old? I will never guess that one. (I looked it up, but I leave it to the others to gues it.)

About Sneakers=> Cosmo : There I was in prison. And one day I help a couple of older gentlemen make some free telephone calls. They turn out to be, let us say, good family men.
Martin Bishop : Organized crime?
Cosmo : Hah. Don't kid yourself. It's not that organized.
That's my favourite one, but yours is very good too. I've seen this movie about 5 times, but I can still see it again.(although not every month)

Nobody else with any ideas? Right, a clue!

It's a very well-known story, which has been re-told many a time. The IMDB lists over 15 different films, cartoons etc - all with pretty much the same title.

Robin Hood, Robin Hood riding through the glen?

I prefer the Weetabix version myself?

Bingo, it's from the Errol Flynn version. While the Weetabix version was good, I think it was a little short...

You're up!

owwww... my fore-brain!

OK - I see the words "long" and "John," so I'm guessing Treasure Island.

No, its not a pirate movie.
I'm not that cruel and cryptic Piln.
It is a quote from a film.

That sounds like a code phrase or something like that.

Man, that's the code the US military used in their ops. Even I know that one. (I like "Schild en Vriend" much more, but I don't think it is as known as this one)

So the search goes to the war movies: A copple I have seen: Saving Private Ryan, The Thin Red Line, Band of Brothers, Das Boot, Patton, The Longest Day, Dirty Dozen, The Enemy at the Gates, Pearl Harbor (never seen it, but know that it is a war movie), U 571.
I also know another one that could be the right too. I know it was with Patrick Swayze (or sth like that) and that it was about sovjets taking over the US. Only some 'childeren' maintained and fought back. I know how it started: Near a school some helicopters landed. The students thought it was just an excersice of their troops. I think some teachers already got shot in that scene.

I however don't remember the name of the movie.
