Do not kill him... He is good boy. I like him. I sleep with him in one bed, I eat with him (my food), etc.

I'm having a hard time killing him, he can run faster than me. He is driving me crazy; he follows me around inviting me to his tent so we can get comfortable...His voice and the sound of someone pissing on the wall while I'm in their hut robbing their chest is driving me nuts. 
Well it is with great sadness that I must tell you that Mud is no longer with us. He was lured into a cabin and there he met he death at the end of my sword

If you're feeling evil and don't mind a little cheating, position yourself right beside that huge tower in the castle (around back in the camp itself willl do), activate marvin mode and then press 'o' to 'possess' Muds body. Run him past the guards and into the castle. Enter the far room on the right and pick the lock to the tower door (or since you're in a cheating kind of mood anyways, just push 'k' to teleport through it). Climb all the way to the top. Jump up on the ledge. Hold shift so you don't plummet to your death. Walk around until you can see yourself way below... then jump. Scream and flail madly as you take the longest fall in the game... and press 'o' when your real body becomes highlighted at the last second. You'll jump back just in time to see him splatter.
It says something for how effective this guy is as an annoying NPC for me to come up with such an elaborate death for him.
Oh, and don't bitch at me if you use the 'o' cheat to possess a guard and take his heavy armor at level one and the game isn't as fun because you're nigh-invulnerable for a few chapters. |

It does, but you have to ask yourself.. "Now that I'm a raging tower of muscle, tooth, and fur that can't walk faster than a lurch can't use any items, initiate dialog, or do anything else even remotely fun (except squish those goblins nearby... which IS fun with Mr Troll)... what do I do now?" You can't even attack the guards with him because he attacks too slow and gets interrupted every time he gets hit.
Funner to use a transform to lurker scroll and blitz around the sect camp or old camp. The unarmed diggers and novices scream "SHIT!" at the top of their lungs and flee rapidly. I led 8 templars on a merry goose chase into the swamp, where they were eaten by swampsharks. Oops. |
