Here is a sum up, of King's Sorrel (KS) that can be found on chapters 1 - 2 (That's how far I am)
From the posts above
* North of the black troll
* In the tomb behind Onar's farm, on one of the shelves.
* On a hill past Nicolas the lone bowman
* Beyond the stonehedge, behind Lobart's farm
* One for sale at the herb woman (replenishes after each chapter )
* Near Jack old lighthouse, on TOP of the cave of the shadowbeast
* Can be bought from the alchemist (Constantino), replenishes after each chapter.
A couple not mentioned yet in this thread AFAICS
* If you follow the path *north* from the lighthouse. You will eventually get to a stonehedge, there is a KS there
* In the graveyard south of the herb woman's cave (behind sekob's farm)
* In the graveyard behind the tavern. Hard to find with all the stuff lying around.
* In chapter two. The watermage/priest gave me a simple fedex mission, the reward was several scrolls, and a choice between a lump of ore and KS (Edited: Dunno if this mission is only given to Mages)
I have 9 or 10 and I have not ventured to the mines yet.

Herb woman - there is always at least one new in every chapter.
Same with Constantino - the Alchemist. |

Danica, you forgot this one: next to a stump on the road to Akil's Farm, near the steps that go down into that valley with the wargs and the shadowbeast. It's right where the path turns left (coming from the city).
And I found another one yesterday:
Near Onar's farm is a guy cutting wood named Grom (below the two towers that constitute Dexter's hideout). Past him are two trolls. Near the second troll is a skeleton between two boulders. There is a KS growing right by the skeleton. |

You can also get one from the priest at the temple in the city (name escapes me right now) if you complete his quest. He gives you a choice of 3 rewards and that is one of them. |

Found another one:
In the cave east of the Black troll. The very same cave that contains the chest for the trial of fire. Left passage, past a couple of Miecrawlers.

It seems that you didn't mention the one you can find in chapter2, where diego hidden the four ore chests, you just have to jump on the left side and in front of you there should be the old camp in sight, jumping off from there to the lower ground should lead to a "raised ground" with a Ks. |
