Xardas quest failed

I'm a member of the New Camp. I switched from being an Old camper. I'm at the point in the game where I've spoken with the Orc Shaman Ur-Shak and he told me about the underground Sleeper Temple and said I should go to the Free Mine to speak to his friend who is a slave there. I went to Xardas and spoke with him and while I was running about I found Milton on the road outside the old camp. I told him about the meeting. I used my WaterMage rune to teleport to the New Camp and found out from someone (I can't remember who now) that Gorn was looking for me. Then......

Saturas (sp?) questioned me about speaking with Xardas. No matter how I replied to his questions, when the conversation is done, my log screen always showed that I failed the Xardas mission. I can't get out of the teleport room without Saturas stopping me to speak with him.

Can a mission be listed under the 'failed' mission section, yet you will still have a chance to finish it?

Thatīs a part of the magic. Gothic is sometimes unpredictable.
