sorry i am a newbie...but how do you enchant an item? |

Yep. Just trap a soul in a soul gem. Use that to enchant items. There is more to it than that but you just have to use your brain for the rest.  |

never tried it before, but i believe what you do is you have to use a soul trap spell on a dead guy before hes been dead for 60 seconds. and uh.. you hafta have a soul gem to put it in too.

I read that you can trap a soul within 60 seconds after its owner dies. Has anyone managed to do that? It only works for me if I cast the spell before or in the middle of the fight.. Not that it matters since I can fumble about with my spells for an hour before any Golden Saints can kill me, but still.. If it's in the manual it SHOULD work! |

It works ONLY with non-changed bought Soul Trap spell. spell must not be enchanced to an item or changed. Im not sure about changes, I think u can change it but it has to have range of Touch. You can also trap multiple souls from one corps so u can fill all ur gems with only 1 dead golden saint/ascended sleeper |

i can't take souls of dead beast, i tried it at a bull netch.
I killed the bull netch and then tried to take it soul, it didn't work.
But when i used the soul trap first and then kill it in 60 sec i got the soul.
I'm using the "name"gem feder scrolls value 175gp
