New guy on the forum, some questions |
|
Hi guys, i just registered.
I just had to come on and say how worried i am about the whole 'gothic 2' release thing. I don't have the game yet (got it ordered off amazon, expecting it on tuesday).
Normally i'd go down to game and buy a game on day of release, but with gothic 2 this wasn't the case. I went there yesterday and was informed that it had been pushed back to the end of the year (not true), and HMV said the same (27th of july).
People on this forum have the game already, so i assume that 13th of june was correct. so it is out. this is the first time ever that i have had to order online because i couldn't find a game in the shops, and it's particularly worrying since the first game was sooooo good. still can't wait.
Secondly, it was a long time ago since i played the first one, could anybody remind me what happened (i remember almost nothing. i was wrapped up in the whole atmosphere rather than the plot!)
cheers,
stu xxx |

I can't describe the plot better than the Official Gothic II Story, translated by Nicole Schuhmacher, a.k.a. "Jaz". Read it, particularly "The Game" section. Well, maybe Schuhmacher can come over and explain it to you, but I doubt it, because PB employees seem to rarely express their ideas here.
Also, the intro movie will also give you a brief review of what's happening at the end of Gothic I. |

Jaz is no PB employee, and she never was.
All you need to know is told in the beginning of the game, and every known NPC you meet offers to talk about the prison. _________________ Webmaster GothicDot |
