Dungeon Siege II Trailer: More download locations

The excellent trailer for Dungeon Siege II can be found at two other locations, namely Gamer's Hell and the official Dungeon Siege website, without the registration needed by Gamespot.

*** Edit *** - Here's the official press release regarding the trailer:
July 17, 2003

Enhanced Dungeon Siege II Trailer Now Available for Download

Microsoft Game Studios today announced that an enhanced version of the Dungeon Siege II trailer seen at E3 is now available for download at www.dungeonsiege.com. This new movie includes additional footage and a new symphonic soundtrack while providing hints about the overall story in Dungeon Siege II. Created entirely in-engine, the trailer captures the raw emotion and incredible visual effects while showcasing the extraordinary capabilities of the Dungeon Siege II engine.

Yes same here, after I could finally watch it---WOW!
But I was *WOW* before DS 1 also and *very* disappointed by its mere action-orientated gmeplay, and since Microsoftis out for money, I doubt they'll change it a lot

Yup,you're absolutely right. The trailers are great but the final outcome most often has alot to be desired.I was also extremely dissapointed in DS.

If i remember correctly, when DS came out, the only other CRPG on the market was Baldurs Gate. No contest, Dungeon Seige totally beats Baldurs Gate, and this video proves it!

Can I please have some of what you're smokin Ammon?I remember the heated debates over which rpg was better,Morrowind,NWN or DS.For me there was no comparision,Morrowind, hands down. I think Divine Divinity came out abit later, but that was better than DS too.

I think I remember Dungeon Siege being the first of the "big 3" (DS, NWN, Morrowind) released that year, but the other two not being far behind. My memory could be wrong though as it often is.

Like many of you, I prefer a deep rpg with turn based combat and lots of stats ect, but I wasn't disappointed in DS because it was pretty much what I was expecting only amplified. I like a good graphics/action fest every once in a while and its hard to beat DS for that. Everything seemed so polished and it had a great interface and amazing engine.

Its hard for me to imagine DS2 being a disappointment to me as long as its from the same developers. That video is great, but its hard to picture how it will fit into the actual gameplay. I'm going to try not to expect it to, and just think of it as a demo of the engine.
