 Well I get the sense that a lot of people on the Gothic 2 Jowood forums are on the younger side. I think rpgdot in general has an older demographic.
There are more "mature" folks at Jowood too, but I think there is a broader mix of all ages so sometimes you get the "stupid" posts you refer to. (That, and the crazy oversized signatures !!!)

You´re posting here, so you can´t be tupid.
The younger average age is obvious. I don´t think this is the problem, though. JoWooD wants to sell something. Maybe they fear tighter moderation would drive away potentiell customers. They´re more reluctant to put pressure on their members than we as an independent site. Without somebody explaining the limits -at least sometimes- things can get out of hand easily.
I find it remarkable that two people who have been banned here (Mattias Kreku and Ryan the Magnificent) are showing unconspicuous behaviour over there.
