Fable (Xbox): Gamespy's 9th Most Wanted

Slipping into 9th place in Gamespy's 2004 Most Wanted list is Fable:
The Xbox is becoming famous for many things. One low-key but important one is that the system is something of a hotbed of Western RPG design. While the PS2 claims the best in the genre coming out of Japan, Xbox has Morrowind and its expansions as well as our Game of the Year for 2003: Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. Now, Microsoft's premier entry into the genre is on the horizon: Fable. Developed by Big Blue Box under supervision from gaming mastermind, Peter Molyneux, the game promises to evolve the concepts behind Western RPG making and bring it all to a new level while keeping the game accessible.
It's re-writing history to credit the Xbox for KotOR and Morrowind, isn't it?

HUh? They just were referring to the games being available on the Xbox. It's not like they said, "We have Morrow and Kotor ONLY becuase the xbox is around."

Idiots.

Idiot, huh? So the Xbox is "famous" for being a "hotbed of Western RPG design" because it has two RPGs that originally started as PC developments that went dual platform? No, that's not what he meant. It's possible the likes of Fable and Jade Empire *might* make the Xbox the avante garde platform for Western RPGs but to use KotOR and Morrowind as examples while saying "famous" for being a "hotbed of Western RPG design" infers they are examples of how the Xbox has fostered the cutting edge of Western RPG development. That in turn is changing history because (at this point in time) it's the PC that is the hotbed of Western RPG design.
