How do I solve this one?

I have an imperial quest from Fort {something} which is right beside Ald ruhn... I have to bring any dwemer item from a guy in Ald ruhn {he's propably a smuggler}...but i have problems to open his locked chests {lvl 70 - 100} Im a knight and my lockpicing skills are not usable..i have tried some scrolls that should open an lvl 100 lock but nothing happened...i also tried to steal the key from that guy but he get's me everytime...i dont want to kill him...is there any other way to solve this ? I would be very thankfull

I killed him, took the key and opened the chests. There were nothing interesting in them! Im also stuck on this one.

there's a dwerwen tube in the middle of all the goblets on one of the tables somewhere

yes there was a dwemer item on the table...but pretty good hidden
