Now i want to play it again and i cant because it thinks that gothic is still installed. it wont let me reinstall and when i try to repair, or modify, it puts the files into c:\windows. can someone tell me the folders and files in the main gothic file? thanks a lot |

Pull up your regedit utility and run a search on "gothic" delete the strings that show the old path to the game Be careful not to dete any of your system fonts as gothic is commonly used in font names once done reinstall gothic you should be fine they wiil look something like this
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Paths\gothic.exe
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\PIRANHA-BYTES Software GmbH\GOTHIC _________________ Target that Explosion and FIRE!! |

Look at http://www.rpgdot.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=3137
Why to hell you pressed OK if the system asks you 'if you are really sure that you want to delete an folder that may influence installed software'?. <point>
