How do you do the Diego Stat cheat?

I remeber reading before that there was a way that you could use rings near Diego and get permanent stat increases. Could somebody please explain how to actualy do this bug/cheat.

Use the search, it will reveal all!

Just search for "Diego rings" and such and you will get answers, heres one I got:

Sounds like its just a fluke though, but I'll let you figure it out

it works.
But they forgot to tell that you have to be in the god mode.
