What's in the chest?

I've finish the game with a dragon hunter and I haven't manage to find one thing. In the nord of the main map, at the right of the black troll, there is a bridge. If you pass the bridge there is a cave there. In the cave there are some paladins statues, a chest surrounded with blue lights. The chest can't be opened without the right key, which I haven't manage to get. So WHAT'S IN THE CHEST?

It contains a blank rune, and is a mage only quest.
