I just got this patch Wiz8Patch2001_12_23_release. Now I cannot pickpocket that much hence I don't get the keys from Ferro or the constable.
And the shoplifting seems impossible.
Is it just me or is there some solution people. |

It's not you. Sir-Tech documented that the patch will make it harder for people to pickpocket in the sense that merchants, etc. will eventually notice even a successful pickpocket, and adjust their attitude accordingly (more realistic). You can still pickpocket Ferro, the constable, etc. to get their keys, but they won't be happy with you. A lot of people have complained that it killed the point of being allowed to pickpocket - having fun while benefiting from a little dishonesty, as you can no longer really benefit from it.

Yes, they really ruined possibility of pickopeckiting with this patch. |
